Cleaning Tips

I was sitting here thinking about how hard it is to get that build up off of the kitchen floor that gets around the edges, and I thought it would be neat if us ladies could share our cleaning tips. And if you men have any, that would be cool too. Cat

Depending on the floor, say you have an Armstrong floor...vinyl inlaid.

They do make a cleaner (armstrong) for these floors.

YOU can polish it by using a Lamb's wool, with a floor scrubber.

It is alot of work and time required, but done properly, it's worth it. It brings the luster back.

Two words: Maid Service! Just kidding, I use Simple Green for everything, even grass stains! oh and those eraser blocks(different brands)

andddd.. so I don't stress, I have an imaginary cleaning, laundry, secratary etc. person who I leave lists on the bulletin board for. That way, if nothing gets done, I just blame it on her!

I love the erasers. They make things alot easier. I always clean my microwave out with baby wipes. It takes the stuff right out.

I have hardwood floors, no rugs. I open the back patio door and start at the far end of the house with the leaf blower, that way I can dust at the same time. Once my daughter called while I was cleaning and my roommate answered the phone, my daughter said "dad must be cleaning, I hear the leaf blower". I can do the whole house in about five minutes.

Easiest way to clean a microwave is to boil a cup of water in there, and then leave it there for about ten minutes without opening the door letting the steam work on everything. Then even the most baked on stuff just wipes right out.
