What would you call this stuff?
Ok, ladies, could y'all help a feller out.

I'm trying to sell this stuff on eBay for a friend of mine. Problem is, I have no idea how to describe this particular item. All I know is that it is made of crystal. Anyone care to help?

No, I don't think it is a complete set. At the very least it's missing a goblet/glass/whatever you wanna call it.

A quick piece of advise. Pull one glass. Sell it as a 6 glass set. That way it seems complete. Many place settings come in 4, 6, 8, and 10 pieces.

Your friend can come back in a few weeks, and sell the single glass. There's a huge market for "replacement" pieces when dealing with old plates, glasses, containers, AND crystal.

Crystal of any kind is very much in demand now days.

Especially older crystal sets. I'm not sure that is what you have or not. Did you notice, most sets were limited to 2 or 4 glasses? Which makes the one you have, less common, and more expensive.

The older sets have higher quality engraving/etching technics used on them. The older ones have more of it also. They're bringing top dollar among buyers.

I would ask for some additional input from a dealer before I sold it too cheap. But, that's my take. Simply ask the dealer what they would give for it, then add as much as 50%. Just don't overprice it.
