Of course I miss my hubby but I keep myself really busy at work and home to not think and worry about so much about him. . I also enjoy being on my space and I am part of the Love R truckers Group on my space where trucker wives all communicate and give each other support. I chat with some really nice people in different parts of US. But I am seriously going to have to hide my husband's after shave colonge because my 10 year old son has been putting it on every night right before bedtime. Daddy may get a little mad or suspious when he sees it is all gone when he comes home. (lol). . At first I thought he puts it on because he is growing, is curious and wants to smell good around his friends but now I realize that he just misses daddy and wants to feel his presence because before he goes to bed he asks me when daddy will be back and why he has to be gone so long and why stores and people need to have things all the time.

Same here. I haven't had the opportunity to actually go on a real load with him in this truck. It stinks, but someone has to hold the fort down here. LOL I'm considering going out next week with him, but have to see how my schedule looks next week. I need a laptop and Wi-Fi and I could go more often.

I am actually pretty good right now, as my man has been home for 2 days. He is leaving tomorrow, and in a few days I will be missing him very much. I must admit there are times that I'mm really liking the ME time though.

I miss my d.h. today. I'm one of the lucky ones because he has a local job and is home every night! Praise the Lord. This forum has made me think back to when he was a rookie and had to take the first job he could get just to get the over the road experience he desperately needed. He was gone for so many, many days at a time. It was so hard to sleep without him and how I waited by the phone for his call. I miss him but not at the point of being homesick for him, yet.
