| For all of you who are new to this... trust me, us "old hands" have walked in the shoes you are in now. And while it does get easier, we still have our days! When my husband started in this line of work, I couldn't handle 3 days, much less 3 weeks. I cried all the freakin time, and very deliberately worked myself to utter exhaustion! I've had him gone for up to 12 weeks, home for 4 days, then gone for another 4 weeks... now, he leaves for Washington, and I'm like "Bye hun, see ya later." There are times in there though when all I want is him. Just to curl up and sleep with him. Those are the rough times. But we all deal with it, and grow thru it. And any time you need a helping hand, just let one of us know. This is part of what we are here for.

| Sweetie, I have spent more nights crying myself to sleep than I can count... you're barely started on this road. You have my deepest empathy. It will start to work for you. You seem to already have the good stuff going. Keep it up!

| I just quit from t mobile customer care when my husband took this job, i worked there 4 years, a record for center reps. lol and i can tell you that its good service ONLY in big towns, it didn't even work at all where we live in a rual area!! so i had to pay verizon which is expensive!! but WORKS EVERYWHERE! yay, t mobile has too many system problems, but a little secret about them, if you move to a place or have an address where there is no coverage in our coverage maps ( you can see on line at tmobiles website that map to) and you can get out of that contract for that reason. and i know because i did it all the time. they just overload the towers and we have CONSTANT systems outages. |

The Weather Lady was a title given to me by Cybergal, after I started posting so many warnings here. These guys here have sent me some excellant pictures, and they are a great learning tool for me! Even my avatar was a gift sent to me by another member here! Good luck in school! Anything you can come back and teach me, I'd LOVE to learn!

| Well, the inevitable happened again. Hubby left out this morning and I cried like a baby. He was home for a week and a half due to orientation and waiting on his own truck. We aren't sure whether he will have to hitch a ride to a different terminal to pick it up or what, he has no clue as to where he is going. Everything was so unorganized for us this morning....it just sucked. I feel comfortable that he will be ok out there. I put Daddy's dog tags on him and told him that I no longer needed him. He teared up and said, "So Daddy's gonna ride this time, huh?" It was very emotional for us both, I'm hoping that they will keep him feeling good about himself and make him think about sticky situations even more. When someone wears Daddy's tags we always say, "I'm taking Daddy," "Daddy's gonna ride," or, "I got Daddy." I haven't felt like this since he got started. I'm such a nervous wreck and on my emotional roller coaster. I'm seriously thinking about making a rule where he can not stay home for more than 4 days! ......maybe 3, 4 seems to long. I wanna lay down and sleep my emotions off but I have a 23 month olf running around. I wish my sister was here cause we'd veg out on the couch watching a chick flick. I called my Mommy and she laughed at me. LOL Ok I'm rambling now........gonna shut up and go to the joke section. Sorry about rambling but thanks for letting me get it out. Hopefully he will call in a few and let me know whats up. |

| (((HUGS))) Sammy! It's okay, we all cry! And after a week and half at home, while I would be eager to see him go, I'd bawl like a big ### baby!

| Yeah normally I am very ready to kick him back out. lol Of course, I do have to say, I'm not fussing about the house being a wreck as it will keep me busy tomorrow. I'm also planning to swap 2 bedrooms out as my little sister wants to move into the room with the daybed so that will keep me busy through the weekend. On the day he leaves, I throw my own pity party and then for the first week I stay busy busy busy. It's just my way of coping. The Trucker's Report helps a lot too. Lots of great people here. I love the female company, it's like a family here, and then there are those that keeps me laughing......Snazzy, Baack, Shocky, Cyber, you....and many more. My sleepless nights are spent reading Snazzy's whole lies and half truths! lol I'm on page 68 right now, sounds like a book, eh? Not to mention, it keeps me in touch with what is out there, helps me to understand what's going on and allows me to get tips for the hubby. I love this place! Thanks for the hugs, Weatherlady! |
