 Toys and goodies nonono NOT that kind of toys, OK? Computer programs, scanners, GPS, mapping stuff, atlases, truck stop guides... What kind of fun things do you all use to help that driver of yours?

| I have FOUR different mapping programs! I also keep a database of low bridges, etc... He has pics galore stored on his laptop, and my former employer is threatening to give him a DVD of survialance(sp) clips from when I worked at the store... He says it will keep him entertained and not so lonely for a good long time! LOL!

| Wake up calls and low bridges, yeah... I have mapquest, google earth and now Copilot Trucker 11. Still working on learning that. They let me have active copies on both the laptop and this pootur, too. Nice of them! Ratchet has all kinds of bits and pieces in the truck. A small voice recorder, phone thingies, blue parrot headset, inverter, dvd player, cooler... *sigh* Crrently have all that stuff sitting around the house as repairs were needed on the truck... I am trying to teach him to use the laptop but he is being stubborn about it. It's funny to see my Luddite guy with a cell phone permanently attached to his body.

| I'm a guy, so y'all need to understand this is comin' from a male's perspective ------ How 'bout a 4x6 photo of YOU to clip to his visor, so he can glance at your smiling face as he travels the highways and byways and all across the fruited plain -- from sea to shining sea? Scantily clad is cool, but in a pinch --- even in hair-curlers would be fine. Scowls might help if hubby's mind tends to wander. That way, every time the Sun is in his eyes, and he flips the visor down --- there you are, lookin' over or through him. HeY it'd work for ME!     |
