I wanna say hi

I'm new to this board. There may be some people I already know - can't be sure. But I am a tanker yanker's wife. (well, almost...scheduled to be married in a week and a half). I live in the Pacific Northwest around the Seattle area. My husband-to-be hauls petroleum (oil, diesel, some fuel) to the ships. He spends a lot of time in Canada - but usually only one or two day trips. He's home most nights a week and three weekends a month.

I used to be a trucker myself - almost 7 years. Carried my son with me for nearly 2 of those. It was rough raising a kid on a truck, that's for sure. But he turned out okay and isn't permanently damaged. lol.

Anyway, I am back in the trucking realm again - and am finding myself a trucker's wife (again). Something draws me to these guys. lol. Not sure what the heck it is though!!!??? Anyway, here goes for round 2 - except this time, I got it right and married (or will marry) the right guy.

I would LOVE to connect with some people from the Northwest.

Evening, Morning, um Hi NW!

I grew up in Vancouver, WA. One of our daughters recently finished college in Seattle. Another one is in Bellingham.

My spouse started driving April 07. I've learned a lot here. You're gonna love this forum, even if you don't find too many Northwesterners.

Welcome!

Congrats on your wedding to be!

Penny
