| I'm so glad I'm going to be living with our daughter! She's such a better cook than me. I know how to do it all but it's so time consuming. My poor kids grew up thinking stove top stuffing was for holidays and the store brand was what we ate the rest of the time. |

| Crock pot roast Got this one from my mom. Roast, whatever weight you want 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 2 packets Lipton Onion soup mix 2 cans water 1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce mix the soups, water, and Worchestershire, put the meat in, and cook on low all day. I usually put in two cans of soup and two packs of Liptons because it's a roast that stays in the crockpot for about ten hours or better (because we're at work all bloody day) and I don't want the liquid to burn away. This recipe is great on the grill as well. Mom made this on the grill, about 1 1/2 pound of roast, but only one can of mushroom soup, one pack of Liptons, just a bit of water, and less Worchestershire. Wrapped it in tin foil and cooked it for about an hour I think. Anyway, it was awesome on the grill.

| My grandma can make some dressing... Quote:
![]() Her secret is Sorry girls, can't give away the family secret. I was going to but I just couldn't type it. I do have a good Mexican chili recipe. It was called Taco soup but hubby renamed it. Brown and drain 1 lb. hamburger, or leave out for vegetarian version. Add one diced onion to pot and cook until starting to soften. You will need to add a little canola oil to the pan if you didn't use hamburger. Drain one can pinto beans, one can kidney beans and one can of garbanzo beans, rinse really well and add to the pot with one can of tomato sauce, one can diced tomatoes, one can green chilies (4oz), and one can undrained corn and one cup of water. Add one packet of taco seasoning and one packet of Ranch dressing mix. Stir it all up and when it's hot hide a bowl of it for yourself. I serve it with shredded cheese sprinkled on top, a dollop of sour cream and some crushed tortilla chips. ![]() If you are dieting the soup is very good for you just leave off the cheese, sour cream and chips. It still tastes good. |

| I gave my friend this tip to add to her meat loaf....... to spice up your taste buds with boring meat loaf..... add half a bottle of chunky salsa to the mix.. pour the rest of the bottle on the top and bake as you usually do .makes for a different taste..... |

| I use bbq sauce in my meatloaf. I also use oatmeal instead of bread crumbs.
