You got it girl!
He actually has 3 of those "Ding Ding" enhancers.
He might need them for his 65 yr old mistress. LoL.
Talk about trucker safety--------he would actually drive his rig and have that thing on his dingy! Wish the DOT would have pulled him over for that one.

Well, on a lighter note.
Class was class.
My bo passed his air brake test only missing one, ME! I missed 5.
Still passing though, since there were 50 questions on the test.
Then we watched 3 hrs of films produced by Covenant. Safety, making turns, dealing with rollovers and such.
Interesting.
Then I pissed cause the instructor told us when we began class they would work with appointments for my bo on his drug tests.
See he works Mon-Fri. He gets up 3 or 4 am.
He's off on Fri, but their doctors will only do it on Thurs.
It is hard for him to get off and I feel like she lied to him from the beginning of class.
We'll do what we have to do to make it through the class but its not right.
Well gotta run.
Get groceries, get my make up on, and go hear my baby play his guitar tonight!
It's FRIDAY!

That's awesome that you are doing this. I was in the same kind of relationship for 6 years only he wasn't a driver so he was home all the time. Actually he refused to get a job and I had to support his #####. I heard that he and his new gf have a kid together and they are still living with my ex's dad. What a bafoon!

I got my CDL the harder way. My hubby taught me. I didn't take any classes. I learned a lot from him, his dad, his cousin, his uncle, and a good friend of ours. I kinda wonder if it would have been easier going through a school. I just read the book took the written. Then went and found someone to give me the driving portion of the test. I was nervous as hell.

You'll do just fine.

As for his ding-ding enhancer...put some itching powder in it before you give it back to him.

Good for you and striking out on your own. Remember, the most crushing thing you can do to an ex is make it on your own. I remember thinking one slightly pickled night: "I thought she said she couldn't live without me?!?!"

Honestly I think the best experience is learning from people who ACTUALLY DRIVE! Them driving schools are only there to get you a CDL and that is it! With your hubby, uncle, dad, cousin, and friend helping you learned from who have first hand experience of driving a truck and in my opinion that'll make your job easier and make driving more easier and better for you!

Itching powder! Great idea!
I knew I would find some wonderful ideas here..LoL
MrsSandman, The way you got your CDL's was a good way.
My Ex was going to train me. I had my permit twice before. But he was so hard to get along with I just gave up. I couldn't do nothing right for him.
I think he wanted me to have my CDL's to help him with his log book hrs, not to actually drive.
Then he got mad and quit the company cause I came home off the truck to be a mother to my /then young 10 yr old/ son. My son cried everytime I called home wanting me there. I missed X-mas that yr with him. So sad when I think about it.
My son 17 now, so being gone for weeks at a time now is right up his alley. But I do have spies...LoL
Well, I have class tonight and I can't wait. I've got to get in here and get my logs up to date (sounds strange to say that, LoL)
I'm starting to feel butterflies about criminal court next week. I hope they don't put off his CDV again. I want to move on with my life but the past keeps coming back to haunt me.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Last night in class was ..... different.
We have a female instructor (who is good at what she does) but somethings came out as we were talking about alot of personal stuff that was going on in her life.
I now have more respect for her now.
To go through the things that she has gone through and still be able to come into class every day and inspire us is simply remarkable.
The things that we as women have to go through.

Well, we left for a trip around the block in the schools truck........it is a piece of "SHE IT". 3rd and 6th gaer is almost gone.
How am I suppose to get use to easy sifting when even the experienced instructors can't get 3rd gear without grinding.
The trailer that we pull has wires hanging from the top lights and the doors on back.... we were told NOT to try to open them for the CDL test because they may actually FALL OFF!
This is going to be a bigger challenge than I thought.

Tonight we must leave the class room to meet up with DOT officials. What for .... I don't know.

I'm keeping my eye on the prize.....MONEY!
My teacher made a really good point yesterday........Trucking is the only field that women can earn the money for the same work.
