Fruit cake is big in Australia and the UK Probably because in Australia it has a huge Dollop of Brandy in it.

I would stick a piece in the Microwave and slightly heat it and then cover it in Cool whip Lol. Its a really heavy cake.......you either love it or hate it, Me I can't stand it.

Hey.....I think you guys are on to something! I'll cover the whole thing in chocolate and see what happens! If that doesn't work I can scrape the chocolate off and eat that by itself! LOL

So far I have not said a word to the sender of the cake. If it's a joke then it's killing him and he will eventually have to ask me about it. If I don't hear from him in the next 24 then it might be for real and I'll just be polite and thank him.

In the mean time, bring on the chocolate!

HEY!! not a bad idea...Melted chocolate goes good with just about anything...
