It's a little-known fact that there has actually only ever been one fruit cake baked ... it just keeps getting re-gifted.

I don't know why everybody picks on fruitcake. I love it, light fruitcake, dark fruitcake, bring it on. My grandmother used to make a dark, heavy fruicake that wasn't baked with lots of brandy and rum in it.

I enjoy a slice or two of fruitcake at the holiday season as well. A good fruitcake is actually very tasty!
