Wait a minute! You're telling me this thing has RUM in it?? Well now we're talking!

So the plan is to cover the whole thing with melted fudge, stick a straw in the middle to suck out the rum, and by the time I get past the chocolate to the actual cake I will no longer care!!

Yes...some make it with RUM or without RUM.

I have had both and I must say with the RUM, its gooooood. GREAT TASTE, more richer in taste, softer, and a hint of something that you cannot put your taste buds too that is really delicious. That's the RUM talking............lol

Have a SIS, who makes these cakes every year and puts the rum in them.

I never liked fruitcake either till I tasted hers.

Its a honor indeed to recieve a Fruit cake... the darker the cake the better ....... I love Fruit cake ..... sit back after dinner and enjoy..... tell him the cake wasnt to bad but you like the richer cake with currants! ........ send me a bit will ya LOL and MrsT we like it LOL

Oh gosh I am sure I am the only one that really loves fruitcake. Especially the butter fruitcake from Sears lol. We used to get it all the time and it is absolutely decadent. Call me cwazy, but I just love the stuff!
