My doctor's appointment went well. Dr. Lacy is still happy with how she's progressing. I asked him today what he thinks she'll weigh when born. He told me probably around 8 pounds. He also told me that I should deliver right on time. That's not too bad. Her heartbeat is still good and strong. My appointments are now weekly. My next one is July 9 at 3:30pm.

(((HUGS))) I'm glad to hear you are doing well! This time can be so exciting! Ah, I remember being preggers with my son in the middle of the summer! LOL! Miserable, but I loved that pool more than I ever have in my life! Even now, I can still recall the sheer JOY of sinking into that cold water... I practically lived in that water!

Well, another Thursday, another OB appointment. 2 more weeks to go as of Monday. Madyson still has a good strong heartbeat. She's in the "head-down" position. I had my Group B Strep test last week. I got the results today. They were negetive. I've been shopping like crazy trying to get everything we're going to need. People have been giving us stuff too. As July 27 draws closer, I'm getting more anxious and scared and excited. My emotions are on an up and down rollar coaster ride(at least I'm not just going in circles ) My parents are getting better at accepting the fact that they are going to have another grand-daughter(Madyson will make 4 girls, and a grad total of 6 grandkids). Mom took me shopping today for diapers, and helped me pick out what was neccessary and what was not. She also bought me some new flip-flops(only kind of shoe I can wear). My next appointment is July 16 at 11:20AM. I'll keep y'all posted.

I started another thread called: "How do trucker moms do this.....". Any advice would be helpful.

I found out at my doctor's appointment today that I am 2cm dialated. If I don't have the baby by the 27th of this month(due date), he's going to induce me at 8:00AM on the 28th. Until next thursday.....

Okay, this is going to sound nuts and might be TMI, but I have a piece of advice here...

One of the surest ways a doctor has of inducing labor is a prostglandin vaginal suppository combined with oxytocin... Nature's own version? Semen. If it is okay with your doc, have GOOD sex. (Now I am blushing, damn it!) Seriously, an orgasm, following with the "deposit" usually works if the timing is right. (And yes, I know from experience, and it was a trick given to me by a doc when I was preggers with my daughter.)

(And guys, forget I am the one who said this...)

LOL.....Maybe a little TMI, but this IS the ladies room. And we can talk about that kind of stuff in here right? I'm hopeing that things will go naturally(including epidural). I knew I had started feeling some pressure, but I didn't think that I was dialating already. I was a little surprised to say the least, and so was my mom. I called my boyfriend to let him know that he needs to be ready to drive back to Anderson from Aiken at a moments notice so be ready. He's already moved back to Aiken because of work. I'll be moving as soon as Madyson and I are cleared for travel and have a feeding routine down. I can't thank you ladies enought for all your input and I hope to keep hearing from y'all. As soon as I get pictures up on my computer, I'll post them.
