The study by psychologists from a North Carolina university has found that men are much more likely to come to a consensus when defining what they find attractive in the opposite sex.

The study, published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, could mean it's not just money and security that lures many attractive young women to far less attractive older men, The Courier-Mail reports.

Wake Forest University researcher Dustin Wood polled 4000 men and women, aged 18 to more than 70, on how attractive they found the subjects of a range of photographs of people of the opposite sex aged 18 to 25.

The study, perhaps not surprisingly, found men's view on the attractiveness of different women was defined by physical features, with women who looked thin and seductive getting the highest ratings.

Aww, all these conflicting studies!! They make my brain hurt!
One says men find curvy, "real" women to be the most attractive, this one says thin, and seductive.

Oh, who cares, anyway? Hubby says I'm the sexiest woman on Earth, and I'm PERFECT, just the way I am. (and , NO, he is NOT seeing me through "beer goggles"! LOL)

So, take THAT, all you dumb studies!! LMAO

All I know is my husband thinks I'm beautiful and sexy. I'm 53 and overweight but still get asked out by men who evidently don't understand what a wedding ring is. So evidently even though I'm not skinny and seductive looking I still don't look like a dog's hiney either.

Works for me.

I guess thin & skinny's alright for men that like that,but as for me I like em with the curves in all the right places.My Wife & I have been married many years & she still look's d### good to me!! Thank GOD for me though that she can't see quiet as good as she could 30 years ago.
