Grr still maintaining the 1lbs loss for the first week. But eh, I guess it's better than gaining. Woke up on a better side of the bed for some reason. Had another salad with creamy italian dressing for breakfast. Oh and last night I drank all my crystal light iced tea so I had some citrus punch that 130 cals a glass... not great but water ... ugh... i just can't drink it unless I'm really hot and it's really cold!
Lunch I had a bagel and veg cream cheese (ate what was at work, didn't get to go out today) and tea.

Still waiting on my friend to sign up completely for gym so we can go together. Sometime next week.
Yesterday I had a snack of veggie chips and then had a bad night and didn't eat dinner.
Today my stomach was still churning so no breakfast but lunch I had spaghetti with marina sauce, iced tea and a cottage cheese cup. I dunno where my weight is. Monday I'll see, hoping for some kind of downward change...

i have got to stay motivated !!!! i bought the cutest pair of slacks, they are really high waisted, they are so cute. i would just like a little more room in them .,cuz i like to breathe freely. ha ha.

Well after a week of trying to watch what I eat - but not getting much exercise in - I still lost 2 lbs. I'll take it - it adds up!
I decided not to join the gym by the way - it's just an added expense and the cats need to go to the vet, one peed on the bed and the smell is not coming out so I need a new mattress, my car's 'cabin filter' just got fixed for almost $200 bux and I still have to pay gas, phone, school loans, car loans and and I'm trying to get down my credit card. I just can't have the extra expense.

Sorry for the troubles. As far as the cats, and the odor, it may not be urine, if one or both are males. It could be "spray", where they mark their territory. If this is so, the only cure is to have them fixed, and sometimes, that doesn't help.

For the odor, try Febreze pet odor remover.

My weekend went ok, as far as eating better. Not great, but not too bad.
Made home made chicken-green chile stew in the crock.. YUMM!!

You don't need to join a gym, anyway. There's plenty of ways to get exercise that are a lot more fun than sweating on some elliptical machine. I've known women who just put on some fun music and dance around while cleaning house. Play tennis with a friend. Chase your dog. Join the kids in a game of hopscotch or leapfrog. Etc, etc. Who needs a gym?

So true, so true!! Dancing around to music while you do housework is a GREAT work out!! And fun, too!

Something else a ran across awhile back, while climbing stairs, instead of putting your weight on the step with the ball of your foot, plant your entire foot FLAT on the step, and push UP with your leg weight....works your leg and butt muscles.

ugggggg , diet, I've gained 30+++ lbs since I've been out of work for the past year. Got a great hubby and he cooks, but he POUTS if I dont eat it. I need to get back on the road to lose this weight.

One is a male and he is fixed but I suspect he's the one doing the peeing. He is fixed and the puddle was kinda big so I'm thinking it was more than just spray. I'm taking him to the vet tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have any kidney or urinary problems that make him pee other than the litter box. I clean the litter box everyday and the 2 ktties have been living together 2 month's now, I don't know what the problem is. He also peed on a laundry basket so now those clothes have to be washed. The stink of cat pee in my bedroom with this humidity and heat if stifling. If I can't keep laundry in a laundry basket then what else can I do. It just sucks...
I keep em both out of the bedroom now but I'm afraid the next puddle may be on my couch - I can't fathom where he'll pee next!
