I was engaged to this vermin who calls himself a man...I began finding odd phone numbers on our cell phone bills...I started calling them...he was "dating" two women, and had just become "engaged" to a third.

I dumped his arse, and plastered his face on a site called "Don't Date Him, Girl!" He proceeded to call and text me day and night, begging me to come back. Sooo, I then started forwarding all of the text messages to his "fiance"...SHE dumped him, and so did the other two women. And one of THEM posted about him on the don't date him site!! ROFLMAO

But, the one good thing that came of my "engagement" to this creep, was I met my husband through him, and have been over-the-top happy ever since!!

not to make light of everyone's misery but it's nice to hear that I'm not the only one that's been heartbroken. Sometimes when things like that happen, such as cheating, I blame myself. I wasn't good enough for him to faithful or I wasn't smart enough to catch the problem in the relationship from the very begining. This thread let's it be known that it wasn't because of me (or you); it happens to just about every one in all types of situations.

We could be twins!!! I did the same thing, but the idiot "new" finace still married his dumb ###... He even gave her my engagement ring (After I dumped his ### and gave it back to him) and he TOLD her it was mine. If my hubby had proposed by telling me "Why would I waste money buying another ring when I already have this one" there is no way in hell I would have married him...

Well, I also got married during this time period and moved (The Hubs was in the Army)... So, one day I get some random email from him... I guess he thought I was still living in Chicago because the email said that his wife was in the hospital having surgery and would be in-patient for 3 day, so wouldn't this be a good time for me to come on over so we could get "re-aquainted"...

I have no idea what, if anything, came of it.

I don't really think of it as "revenge" because I would have to care about him, in some way, to want to hurt him... I just don't.

But, if I were his wife I would want to know what he was up to. There is a part of me that feels bad for her, but on-the-other-hand if she stays with him then I think she is kinda getting what she deserves...

Oh well...

Yeah, I call him "the serial fiance'", as he never marries anyone...just gets engaged, and within weeks of "engagement", is sneaking around dating others, and is ALWAYS "engaged" to at least 2 women....he's just a sorry, sorry person.

The one that he got engaged to while with me, sold her house in Michigan, and moved to Indiana to be with him...AFTER I sent her the emails and texts he had sent to me...within weeks, she had kicked him out, as he was engaged to another, as well as her.

Aww, well...someday he may find that it isn't a good thing to treat women in such a manner...someone is likely to get REAL revenge on him, Lorena Bobbit-style...
