Did you ever get revenge on someone that broke your heart?

I see on TV women who were say, heart broken in highschool and then come back their 10 yr reunion as a knock out, etc.

I only ask because my ex's seem to be falling out of the sky this month and I feel great being able to kick them all to the curb.

For example:

1. A guy I had 1 date 7 years ago, his car broke down in front of my parents house just as I was pulling in for lunch. I didn't even remember him but he remembered me. I basically said hi and bye and went inside, watching to make sure he left. Weird...

2. A major bf in college recently contacted one of my friends and actually apologized to me through her for cheating on me over 5 years ago! I did not respond. I hadn't thought about him in forever and didn't really care. Then he contacted me (through facebook) trying to "friend" me. So I wrote him a note telling him a received his apology but I don't need it. I'm happy where I am and would prefer not to be in contact with him anymore. He still wrote back trying to start a conversation. I will not respond. I can not block his emails but I did not "friend" him. By the way, he is now married w/ 2 kids. I could have shown his wife these emails...

3. The other major ex in my life contacted me through AOL. We chatted for a bit, turns out his gf left him this summer. He now regrets our break up 3 yrs ago and now he sees now how he could have made it work. I made it clear I am in love with someone else and heading towards marriage. He claims that where love once was, it never disappears and he will wait. I blocked him.

The point is this all happened THIS MONTH and even though it is weird and I hope I don't run into anyone else, it feels good to be in love and be able to say no to all these losers and that I don't need them anymore.

I hope they all stay out of my life.

Have any of you run into an old flame and were able to give them their just desserts??

This sounds like the makings for a vindictive thread...

Yeppers. He broke my heart and what was worse he and his family made me feel I wasn't good enough because they were "officer" and my father was "non-commisioned officer". It hurt my Daddy, it made him feel small.

18 years later I met him again through my boss at the time. I'm just shallow enough to be thankful I was thin and looked fantastic. He was divorced from the wife his parents thought was so much better than I. She cheated on him with everyone from the gate guard to his CO. I was happily married to a wonderful man, had happy children and was well respected in the small town we lived in.

He told me he still thought of me and he regretted his decision. He had the nerve to say to me he knew he was the love of my life and we could try again.

I told him flat out, that I hadn't thought of him in years and that when I did I thanked God I hadn't married such a shallow, week man. I thanked God every day for my husband and hell would freeze over before I'd cheat on my husband. I also told him that if he was the last man on earth......I'd turn lesbian.

Yes, it felt good to know he regretted it. But it feels better to be married to a man who has never questioned if I was "good" enough for him.

Oh notarps I'm not suggesting anyone go egg their ex's houses or anything. Maybe the word "revenge" is too stong, I'm just looking for stories!

Besides as 'professor of mischief' you might like what you read!

I posted some unladylike pictures of an ex where some people she knew and respected her would see them. Everyone talked about how sweet she was, how she always presented herself so well and always looked like a lady.

mwuahahahahahaha

I know a guy who found out his gf was sending extremely X-rated pix to other guys (the worst you could think of!).
He told his buddies and they didn't believe him, neither did I, because she was such a sweet nice girl and we couldn't picture her exposing herself like that.
In the end he used her email and sent those pix to EVERYONE on her contact list - some of her family didn't even live in the US!!!
He regrets it now because of the drama it cause among her family and she was extremely embarrassed.
I know how he felt, he wanted to marry that girl (but she was 6 yrs younger than him and not ready) but still everyone who knows about it feels he was in the wrong even though she was in the wrong first, he went too far...
