| Well the guy who I am speaking about never called my little sister a B again. There is an unwritten rule that only family can say something like that, is like the jokes I could say about my mom, but I would tear somebody a new 1 for the same line. Well it is raining, I just took 1 more dose of nyquil and I am gonna pass out now lol.

| Excuse me but THAT is what an older brother is for. They're henchmen. The mafia. To this day.........at the age of 53 I know if I need someone's legs broken for being mean to me all I have to do is call my big brothers and they'll get in the truck and make it hard for someone to walk. (husbands are responsible.........brothers are just violent in need) Decades ago I was in an abusive relationship. I hid it from my family.......I was so ashamed that it was happening to me. I'd never seen or heard of it happening to anyone......that's how good the men are in our family. I made the decision to leave this person..even though I believed him when he said he'd kill me. My family walked into the middle of my leaving and the whole thing exploding everywhere. My father tried to protect me....my oldest brother just happened to drive in for a visit and didn't even ask what was going on.......he just saw the fight threw down his hat and went to fighting. He said later "I've been in a lot of bar fights, a lot of brawls....neever has the reason been better to fight than to fight for you". Fighting for your sister's behalf does not make you look bad in Bonnie's and my eyes. My other older brother paid the bail for the abusive person and then whipped the snot out of him too. Said it was the best money he's ever spent. I need to call them and remind them I love them. My husband who was just a friend at the time.....also whipped him when he found out about the abuse. I'd like to say I regret all the violence but even after almost 30 years........nope......I'm still glad he got whooped.

And as to mothers, I was about to post a big DITTO to what you said about looking just like your mom. I have always been a complete carbon copy of my mother. Hubby says my mother and I are twins separated by 30 years.

| My mom and I did not look much alike until I got into my teens... then I started resembling her more... Now it's almost freaky! I still look like Dad, but when I look in the mirror, I see Mom. Only difference is that Mom has brown hair and eyes, and I got the redblonde hair and blue eyes... My poor husband though cannot tell pictures of me and my oldest niece apart! Even my best buddy looks at Savannah and askes me "Is this you, or the baby girl?"
