| Texas-Nana, your brothers are absolutely awesome!!! Loved that story, and we're glad you can tell the tale. My little bro has always been great, too. I was a little frightened by an out-of-town guest who was dropping me off to my car to follow me back to my place. He slammed on brakes during a discussion, and my head would've cracked the windshield if I weren't wearing a seatbelt as normal. I called my brother while driving 10 minutes back to our place, and my brother and 5 crazy friends showed up one minute after we did. (They're "fast and furious" and were about 30 minutes away during normal driving, and I was shocked when I heard those loud mufflers & engines so quickly.) They just got him on his merry way with some confrontation, but I know they would've whooped butt. BTW, this is the same younger brother that defended me against an older bully by hitting her on the back with his bookbag and breaking his lunch box in the process.  Oh, the topic! I've always looked like my daddy, but in recent years, I see my mom's face from time to time. There's one trait I hope I don't pick up, but I'd be pretty fortunate for the most part if I got to look like my mom later. She really doesn't have many wrinkles, and even my grandmother doesn't.

| I am a carbon copy of my grandma. (My mom's mom) I have her face, her body, the whole damn thing. Its rather scary. But the one good thing is i also got the youthful genes so I don't look as old as I am. Nice side benefit. LOL. And Lonewolf you sound like my SO. He's always trying to tell me how bad he is. So not true. Good for you for sticking up for your sister. |
