I'm having a good day today, who's with me??

I bring this up because yesterday I had the CRAPPIEST day ever... and the reasons why were so miniscule and illogical!
  • I'm battling a cold so I woke up feeling horrible
  • the cats fighting and meowing seemed exceptionally annoying to me that morning lol
  • I went to work and did the same boring junk I always do but I was on the edge of tears and actually had a mini cry in the bathroom around 4pm because I just couldn't hold it in anymore
  • I was eating the halloween candy like no tomorrow and kicking myself everytime I did
  • I had no time to myself after work because I had the gym a shower, grocery shopping and a spanish class (I'm taking spanish lessons by the way lol)
yesterday just sucked.... But today....

* I woke up before the alarm feeling refreshed
* the cats weren't fighting
* I somehow felt like I had a lot more time in the morning and got some cleaning done as well as putting myself together for the day
* I got weighed at the gym yesterday and found out I'm now down 11 lbs in less than 3 mos so I'm feeling good
* I'm on track with my slimfast and NO MORE CANDY
* traffic to work was so low I actually thought today must be a holiday, or a saturday
* and now my boss is out and I can work in peace

Anybody else having a great day today?

Yesterday was pretty good, I got out of the house for a little while. I actually got to ride with my husband for the day. But today isn't so bad either everyone is at work or school except for me and the baby, well he is 3 but he is still the baby. He is really good and no trouble at all. So the house is peaceful and quiet, thats the way I like it.

I had a coolant leak in my truck and when I got to the shop they had it fixed in less than an hour. Then when I took my laundry inside to wash, there was no wait for a washer. Yup, good day!

Yesterday was good, too. My parents met me in Jeffersonville, OH and we went shopping for a little while then ate dinner at Bob Evans. I hadn't seen them since Memorial day weekend, which is the last time I've been home, so it was good to visit.

I had a good day yesterday too.

1. Hubby found out he'll be getting unemployment benefits after all starting in just 4 more weeks. THANK YOU GOD!!!!
2. We had a good, solid, progressive counseling session together.
3. My mom offered to pay off my hospital bill from my gallbladder surgeries over a year ago that I have been struggling to pay every month.
4. Hubby was here when the propane delivery came and was able to talk the driver into delivering only 100 gallons instead of the 150 they said was required for a delivery so the bill was $200 less than it would have been.
5. I spoke with my new boss in my new department at the hopsital and got everything lined up to start on Monday and got great hours assigned.
6. Hubby got paid for the odd jobs and lawn work he's been doing and took me out for dinner.
7. I got my paper written for my art class and bulled my way through postmodern art appreciation (which I don't appreciate).
8. I had a wonderful time of prayer and Bible study where I really felt healing taking place in my heart.
9. My oldest, dearest best friend called me from Buffalo just to check on me and I got to spend 2-1/2 hours on the phone gabbing with her and feeling loved.
10. My mom bought me a Coca Cola trash can for my kitchen that I have wanted for months but could not even imagine buying for myself.

It was a good day. Today is my last day in the emergency room, my last 12-hour shift, so hopefully today will be a good day too.

Thanks for the reminder to look and say 'today was good.'

3 days ago was not so good. Got disappointing news from the S/O. Then i had to go to work and tell the young woman I was training to be a cashier that she just wasn't making the grade and that I would have to let her go. I felt like the worst person on earth when she started to cry!
2 days ago i was still bummed but getting better.
Yesterday was an awesome day! The sun shone and even though I was trapped inside all day at work, it was all good. The day just zoomed by and even my last really cranky customer of the night could not get me down.

Today started out fantastic with a wonderful 'wake-up' call from my S/O. A day off so when i finally crawled out of bed, had a leisurely coffee and then scrubbed the house from top to bottom. Now looking forward to hearing from my guy when he has parked for the night.
Right now life couldn't get any better. I am always amazed at how things can change so quickly
