Our catahula leopard/queensland mix is Becca. We adopted her from a farm family that had moved to town and Becca became depressed. She's a very happy dog that never, ever seems to slow down enough to rest after chasing rabbits!

My rottweilers name is Prissy for 2 reasons... When she was little she HATED getting dirty she would literally cry till u got her clean. LOL another reason is mom had always liked the name Pricilla (sp?) and dad said heck no he would name his little girl that (thanks daddy)

Around here we have so many...

1) Snowball- fluffy white chow/sharpei mix. It's obvious.

2) Shyanne-- German Shepard/wolf mix.. It just suited her.

3) Bobbin --Mini Aussie/rat terrier she came with the name. She's always jumpin up and down, just bobbin around

4)Sassy longhaired Siamese.. her attitude.

9) Midget, Mittens, *****Cat! All one and the same. Teeney little brat cat! Always tormenting one of us!

The one Lab I had that I took my time naming was Aries... I got her as a pup, and she created chaos where-ever she went! She was a holy TERROR! And we love that stupid dog. We still look for her. She walked around for several weeks with NO NAME. And then one day on some stupid show they mentioned "Aries, the greek goddess of choas and confusion..."

My dog is a retired racing greyhound. His real racing AKC name was Orygun Mooney, we shortened it to Mooney when we first got him, and shortened it further since then to just Moo, or Mooey.

My last dog was recived from my ex-wifes sister before we split the sheets. It was named after my ex. Her name was "annie" the dog was "Annie's Joy" she wound up being A.J. and still is as far as I know, damn sure miss that dog!!!

My dogs start out as Abigail Jean and Agatha Mae

then it goes down to Abigail and Agatha

then down to Abby and Aggie

then down to Abb and agg....lol

They don't care as long as you got a Beggin Strip in your hand........

My dog clover is a female American Staffordshire that I adopted from another trucker who couldn't have her anymore.

He was pawning her off at a truckstop in Willington, CT and she was just barely 10 weeks old.

My good fortune. She has been a great companion and is just a doll.

Her name is Clover:

1. its not so threatening for a "pit" breed.
2. she has a black clover spot on her rear end

My dog wass given to me, but who ever had it first needs his head examined. He called him tyson . . . he is a yorkshire terrior, you dont realise how imbarassing it is to call him when i take him to the park
