Abused Dogs Rescued From Southside Home

Dogs' Owner Accused Of Animal Cruelty

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Abused and starved dogs that police said were left to die were recently rescued from a Southside home.Police said they found one dog dead with a chain still around its neck and two other dogs in bad condition.One of the two dogs was so skinny and weak he could barely stand. Officers with Animal Control said it was obvious he had not eaten in a very long time.

my idea of punishment for people who do this, is to subject them too the same conditions they put these animals in. I think a few days on a chain, in the heat, without food and water will cure them faster of this kind of behavior than any other punishment.

I am sick to death that these people get away with fines or easy jail time. Remember in jail they are given food and water, shelter and exercise. After all anything else is cruel. Why not let me have them for the duration of their "punihsment"?
Because morons think puppies are cute they forget that puppies grow up.While I have a minnpin as a house dog I prefer large dogs. In the last two months I have saved FIVE large dogs that were going to be put down for no other reason than people got tired of them. Oh poor lazy bas%$#*s.
I am blessed with room for these dogs to run and a pond for them to swim in. I still have had to put up fence(not cheap),shots, spay, nuter,feed, and vet bills for abuse.
Remeber even good dogs take time to train. I spend about three hours a day on training alone. While pits.German shepards and Rhotts my impress your friends they require SPECIAL training.They will get big. Please Please do not buy your small child a pet or get a "free puppy" unless YOU have the time and energy to take care of it correctly. No dog deserves to spend it's life on a ten foot chainignored in the back yard.
Also remember dogs form attachments so if you don't own your own home is it fair for a dog to be a memeber of your family until you deciede to move? would you leave your child because the apartment doesn't take kids?
