I'll see if I can leave a permament redirect in the Prime section. After a while tho as more threads get posted it'll drop off the first page and generally out of sight out of mind.

Thats, that would be good. Meanwhile I have to find a way to organize this so that we can have a way to get those involved that may want to.

Having done this for a good number of years, the best way we have found is, to supply the necessary contact information only to the Transport Coordinator(s). They, in turn pass that information along to the drivers involved in that specific transport only.
That way, the "exposure" of personal information is limited to only those who need it.
It DOES help, if the truck driver wishing to "transport" either drop an email or call one of the Coordinators and let them know the "area" they are operating in, or the origin and destination of their loads.
Man, I was hoping that I am not so dumb that I actually have to ask who to heck or what to heck is the transport coordinator? But evidently, I am. Why is it that there is not a bulletin board for drivers that want to do this to go to and see what the need is for the day and be able to help if they are in that area? Actually there might be but I am unaware of it. If there isnt then I would find it quite surprising.

Transport Coordinator = Doggie Dispatcher
The reason there isn't a "bulletin board" is to keep out the "Class B" Brokers. THEY are the ones who collect (and sometimes STEAL) pets and sell them to medical research. Bonafide rescues are real careful as to where and to whom transport information goes.

I do understand about the class b retards but what about those of us that are proven to be dependable? Why is it that we can not use drivers like me and you and have a place where we know what is going on and where. I cant believe that it is impossible to do but it might be. Its discouraging to say the least. How do I find out if I can help you and yours as well and where would I go to get the info? I do not mind doing the investigation at all because I know what it consist of and I have the background for it. Why is it that we can not ask those who want to do so to go through the same.

On another note...I dont exactly see anyone buy us here to even respond to one another so the amount of drivers that care to do so are very slim to begin with. Im here for you if I am in the area of need and you are welcome to check on me to do so.

Rescues (the ones that I deal with) DO use drivers who have proven themselves. It simply is not a good idea to post information about an upcoming transport in a public forum.
There are two ways for drivers to get information about upcoming transports.
  1. To join a "Transport List". This works for 4-wheelers, people who have regular 40-Hour per week jobs or who are retired. They have the time to sort thru the many (hundreds??) daily emails. Many times, a post/email is off topic or answer to a question someone asked.
  2. To keep in contact with a Transport Coordinator, giving them information like location and destination. This works well for truck drivers, who really don't have time to sort thru perhaps hundreds of off-topic emails daily.

We haven't gotten anything from you yet. Perhaps the silly anti-spam controls sent your request off into cyberspace. Would you try again?
