Always looking for Help!

Hi Semi

I have been reading many of your posts including the ones about Prime. My husband and I plan on going to Prime but thats another thread.

We also are involved with Rescue. Cane Corso Association Rescue. We have been wanting to incorporate rescue with trucking but since we both drive local right now it has not been easy.

The Director of our rescue is in Austin TX and we are in Pa, we also have people all over the country including CA but many times we do not have the resources to move many of our dogs to foster homes or adoptive homes because of transports issues. We do the best we can to save as many as we can.

I would love to discuss with you about the opportunity of working on a way to get drivers involved willing to help

Absolutely! That is why I started this thread. I rescued 2 Bostons that are home with momma right now and they are the best in the world to me. I do not understand how anyone could have left one for dead and the other was abused physically and mentally. They are doing quite well at this point but my baby girl still has slight problems with those outside of the family but she is coming around slow but sure. Not too long ago I watched a marathon of Pet Police or whatever it was called, and I knew I had to do more and this is where I started to do it. I already transport for the Boston rescue of Knoxville and Im picking up a momma and here 2 babies tomorrow that are Springer Spaniels. Roadkill is helping me to get established with Rolling Rescue so that we have access to others and lists of situations that we might be able to assist in. Make sure that you read this thread and get involved as well. If we can add others one at a time, it will make a world of difference. Let us know exactly how we can assist your situation as well. I am constantly in PA. By the way, Prime has a base there now. A place called Pittman I believe.

Get back with us when you can

Glenn

Ok, the Transport Coordinator found your application in her "Spam Folder", in fact, BOTH of them were there. You should get an answer soon.

I forgot to add in the response that we do not want to just get any drivers to do this. I myself was willing to be checked out and have experience and trust that I have built up by working with these groups. If a person loves animals then they will be willing to do so as well without attitude. There are a lot of issues that people have that we do not want to expose to the animals simply because they have had enough already. Sorry! Preaching to the choir! Anyways, we have the will so we will find the way

Be good and be safe

We have many in foster now, trying to find them perment homes, you can see the dogs if you want too. canecorso.org then click on rescue. I do not understand people. We have a foster now that was found on the streets of brooklyn, just a baby about a year old. and we adopted another that was abandoned in house, the people moved and left her in the basement. We are hopeing to find a network of people to contact when we need to move a dog. I have been trying too get with some other drivers to kind of get something going. Once we had to get a dog from Pa to Tx we made it work but it would have been easier with a network of truck drivers to help out.

Does Prime do orientation in pittston pa ? Also do the have plenty of trucks up there to choose from or they all the TRL trucks?

I am going to send you a pm with my info in it so that you can e-mail me if needed as well as call if needed. I have to assume that it is a mental disability but there are too many of these situations to think that the whole world has gone mental. It could be a lack of heart but I do not know, and people like you and me cant understand it because we do not fit in that category.

On the other note; Prime does do orientation in Pittston you will get a brand new truck of Primes
