`Porcupine & Pit Bull

A pit bull decided he would battle a porcupine in back of his house in Southern California But being both brave and STUPID, he ultimately learned the hard way that he can't always win - n



The dog survived, and hopefully learned a valuable lesson
A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.
Now tell me you had a bad day!!!

Dang!!! I bet that poor guy was hurting. I'm amazed at how calm he looks in those pics. My guys would have been going nuts.

I'm surprised with so many quills that dog was even STANDING!!! That poor, dumb dog!!

I tell ya though...those pit bulls are touuuuuugh animals...don't back down for anything! I'm glad she was eventually ok!!

WOW! I would say this poor guy was STUCK!

He would have needed his face cleaned with an antibiotic wash and then given antibiotic medication for a week too.

And something for the swelling like a steroid.

Oh, OUCH!!! Man that sucks for the dog. I imagine that the vet spent a few hours removing all of those quills. Geez!
