California Man Gets Almost a Year in Jail for Attacking Kitten California Man Gets Almost a Year in Jail for Attacking Kitten 4/22/08 Quote: SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — A Santa Barbara man will spend nearly a year in jail for banging the head of his roommate's kitten against a wall. Nicholas David Thompson pleaded no-contest to a felony animal cruelty charge and he was sentenced Monday to 360 days in Santa Barbara County Jail. Superior Court Judge Frank Ochoa also ordered the 21-year-old defendant to attend anger management classes for a year. Thompson allegedly banged Gigi's head against a wall and tossed the kitten into the shower and turned on the water. Eh I 'toss' mine all the time, and twap him on the head when he's not quitting trying to steal my chips from the dash board (damn cat doesn't listen to my hubby at all so I have to come save the chips). They are like children, they need discipline sometimes.
