Jogger runs mile with rabid fox locked on her arm

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - With a fox locked onto her arm, an Arizona jogger ran a mile to her car, where she was able to dislodge the animal, throw it into the trunk and drive to a Prescott hospital. The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said the fox, which later attacked an animal control officer, tested positive for rabies.

I heard she was wearing a McCain/Palin T-Shirt. I wonder if it had anything to do with it.

Good lord a mile... I think I would stop looking for a rock or something in that 6-7 minutes... And once I was done with the fox I would be making sure he was not able to bite anybody else...

6-7 minutes.. who are you Flash Gordon? After about 20 minutes I would have passed out at the half mile marker. By that time I would have sawed off my arm with a tennis shoe and let the freaking fox have it.

norm mile for me is around 6:00-6:20 Army I consistently ran 2 mile run just around 12 and halff minutes.. Never could get under 12 minutes on the 2 mile but I have been under 6 on a mile...

LOL and there was people who easily beat me, we had a guy from Kenya who could run 2 miles in just over 10 minutes.. He would not even be breathing hard when he finished.. it was amazing watching him run because he just glided. his stride was slow but very long...He could do it faster but he always said why should he till it is needed.. lol okay.. I know I could hit a mile under 7 minutes or just over today but that would be it.. could not keep it up for 2 because I am out of shape..

Interesting thought there! I don't think I'd want to consider the options. Messy!

Ok, my son officially thinks I'm nuts. That made me bust out laughing.
