Our first mini schnauzer we named prehanna a version of her moms name, our second schnauzers name became biscuit simply because our son dropped a biscuit on his head. Our mixed dog just looks like a bear so there you have it. Now our scarlet macaw we picked up in Canton GA so he goes by canton he tells himself that hes a pretty bird all the time, that ill agree with but when he says good birdie I tend to disagree haha the wonderful joys of animals

my snake is ahhh wow, i named my snake satan because he's a ball python and they are very very docile snakes, i wanted something that reflected something semi scary but almost misunderstood, and then my cat we named Thera she's a black tabby, and she is named after a pain in the rear kitty from one of my favorite video games. This cat is called Bag'thera and he's hard to find and then beats the #### outta you when you do find him, well when he finds you. He jumps out from behind things lol and my cat is the exact same way. but i love them both dearly and satan actually went in the semi with me.

When I found my cat abandoned in the parking lot of our apartment complex and brought the cold, muddy, bedraggled creature inside to my ex-bf, he watched the cat and I interact for a couple of days and immediately cristened it "Pearl." The name comes from a series of Robert B. Parker's "Spenser" detective novels and the dog Spenser aquired early in the series... Pearl's namesake (in the novels) got away with anything and everything she desired, including treats from the table off a fork nonetheless. My Pearl rules the roost, so the name is appropriate. I did not discover until some 8 months later when I took "her" to be spayed that "she" was actually a neutered "he." But my Pearl responds to his name, and hey, he's a cat--HE doesn't care what his name is. And from a human standpoint, it's hilarious watching people's faces when I tell them that Pearl is my little prince!

With my doggies, my first two were named by my younger sister (they were her's before she gave them to me), and she named them after seasonings (Barley and Rosemary). My huskies have the word Star in their name (Starlight, who died back in June, and Stardust), and I named my golden retriever Honey, because of her color. The kitties have just been named randomly, sometimes because of their personality.

could hav named him JAX.. but instead....

i name him T/A .

picked him up at the truck stop in jax,Fl.

got him when he was a pup.

this dog is a pure pred austrailian kelpie (herds cattle).

he is in no way a truck dog.

he is turned on 24/7 and sometimes sleeps with one eye open (very creepy). traveled with me for over six months. then left the lil demon with my wife. .

whats funny is that some peeps think im a chovinist (sc) pig cause they thiink T/A means.....you know. then i tell them it stands for Travel America.

i have three pups, cadwell beemer and deezul

cadwell is named after cadwell park in the UK its a road racing circuit and probably my most favourite track in the world (of the ones i have raced on)

second pup (cadwells sister) is called beemer, i ride a BMW motorcycle (and have for many years) plus usually own a BMW car altho i dont right now

and then theres big deezul, i usually drive diesels (cant get BMW diesles here yet) and like the way they work and he,s a dirt looking dog so it stuck

all three were rescues, we got beemer and cadwell together, beemer woz very sick and woznt sposed to make it but did, cadwell used to take care of her, at three months old she would clean up her sisters mess (she woz very ill) and when i let them out with a leash cadwell would grab beemers with her mouth!

deezul woz about to be put to sleep coz he has anger managment issues but 24 hours with the girls soon cured him of that!

the girls
