We have 3 dogs. Our golden is named Christmas Rose aka chrissy b/c we bought her on christmas eve 11 yrs ago. Then we have one of her daughters Sandy. B/c she loves lying in the sandbox in the back yard. Then we adopted Hunter the beagle from the local animal shelter. Hunter b/c we all know beagles are rabbit hunters! And our dearly beloved Blue that we had to put down a few years back. A black cat w/ white feet that we also adpoted when we got him he had on a blue collar our daughter called him blue and that was it.

1) The newest, and my future truck dog, Calypso. She is a red merle Moochenhunden with green eyes. She's kind of funky looking so I felt she needed a funky kind of name and Zydeco just didn't quite fit. This way her short name can be Callie.

2) The black and white cat that stowed away under the hood of my pickup truck started out as Ford (I have an F-150) but ended up Boyfriend because he was up my southern exposure 24/7 like a very possessive boyfriend.

The 2009 foals (Arabians)-
Ata Al Fouad- translates to Gift of the heart. His paternal grand dam's nickname is Heart and he has a lopsided heart on his forehead. He's also a lover and a half who prefers people over his own momma and loves to give kisses.
Amirah Silk-N-Satin- Took bits of both her sire's and dam's names to make hers.

The 2008 foals-
Elusive Love- used Love from her sire's name, the fact that this was an unauthorized tryst (eluded detection) and her half sister's name is Endless Love.

She's a mooch dog?

I have shih tzus, both rescued, one tri-colored and one black.
The first I named Tuti Fruti because she has cage terror and when I got her, she was half crazed with fear. When I got in the car to take her home, Little Richard was on singing Tuti Fruti. It seemed appropriate. Now her whole name is Tuti Fruti Witch Dog because she has become very self-assured and throws her weight around whenever she can get away with it.
My second had some really bad personal habits that took a while to clear up. When I got him he had eye trouble and needed surgery. After the surgery, all you could see were eyes. All I could think of when looking at him was Desi Arnez and James Earl. Not wanting to Offend anyone, I chose Desilu although I think about James Earl everytime I look at him. He has those great soulful eyes. His complete name is now Desilu Cuddle Pup and lives up to every letter of it.

I have a 9 month old (today) boxer. I found him online at 3 weeks old from a breeder not too far away. After I went to go see him I new he was mine. I had a few weeks before he could come home and I wanted to give him a cool "boxer" name but didn't want to go with the usual "Champ" or "Tyson" or something cliche like that. So after talking with a friend of mine in New York City on the phone about this we tossed around a ton of names and we decided to name him Jake. After "Jake LaMotta" the Raging Bull. It has seemed to fit him pretty well. And I think it's just a good male dogs name.

He's a DOLL!

I recently adopted a minpin. I call him Max. He got this name after trying several others, it was the one that got his attention. He is a fiesty, but lovable little bugger. Unless you wanna mess with mama. He's very protective when it comes to her.

My boyfriend got me a puppy when we first moved in together. I don't really know how he came up with her name. But I let him name her and he chose Jewelz. He says he has always liked that name. But she is as precious as a jewel and I wouldn't give her up for anything.
