| I visited my best friend for a couple nights a while back. Her 8 year old cocker wasn't her usual self. She was acting a bit strange and I asked my bud if she was ok? She said, she was groomed the previous day and seemed a bit off. I petted her neck when I felt something strange. She also jumped a bit. I lifted her head and saw a huge gash on her neck..... Told my friend to come look at it and when she did, she was really upset. It looked like the groomer had cut her with a pair of scissors. We took her to the kitchen with better lighting to get a good look at it and then cleaned it up. A few hours later, she vomited on the floor and shivered. She was okay after a couple of days. My friend felt that it was just an honest mistake as she had been taking her dogs to the same groomer for the last 5 years with no problems. I have a cockapoo and groom her myself. Once in a while I will take her to a groomer who I trust with her. It's very hard to find a decent groomer. I refuse to use Petsmart and Petco. They are not reputable in my opinion to groom dogs. |
