You'd be hard pressed to find anybody with more respect for wildlife than me...but I'd shoot it in a heartbeat.

I like venison ...and it would look good hangin in my trophy room.

I think its an egregious display of genetic engineering.
I also think it would look wonderful on the wall and the meat would be very tasty in the skillet.

No, not rare at all. Bucks are in velvet from the time their antlers begin to grow, starting around the end of May, right up until the time the velvet starts to fall off in September when the rack is fully grown. I've personally seen many bucks in velvet. It is very rare to see antlers that size on a deer so young. Their antler growth normally peaks around 6 or 7 years old. I can't imagine what that buck would look like in 4 years

The reason I say rare
Bucks are very especially reclusive
And are mostly seen during the rut when they lose their minds, by then the velvet is long gone

True, but you will see many more together in "bachelor groups" during late summer while they are still in velvet. I do alot of scouting during the summer in preperation for hunting season, and you will see 3 or 4 bucks feeding together in the fields. But they seperate, the closer it gets to rutting season and are pretty much loners during the rut, and ready to kick any bucks ### that gets in the way, even the ones that were their buddys a few months earlier.
