It's been a little over week now. I can't say it's getting better. She is still gone, and there is still a huge hole where she used to be. I'm finally sleeping. But the fact that I have a nasty cold and she was my cuddle buddy when I was sick has just made me miss her more.

Nala still grabs toys and goes running into my bedroom, looking for her. Snowball still wanders in, sniffs around where Bobbin used to sleep and walks out like she is thoroughly disgusted. I think they believe I hid her under the bed or something!

My daughter keeps telling me we need another puppy. I am just not ready for it. On top of that, Snowball is too old to bring a puppy in here. She is 18 and not in the best of health any more. Plus, the status quo has already been thrown on it's ear, we don't need to upset it again yet.

Someday, I will want another Aussie. I know I will. Bobbin left us with a very positive experience. She was a wonderful wonderful friend! And Melva agrees with me on this. However, Melva wants a full-size standard Aussie. I don't much care either way, whether it is a standard or a mini.. though I would like to have a mini that can be taken on the truck easily....

Okay, it's been exactly a month, and the hole is still there... I still augh and cry when I think of her... and I cannot see a pumpkin pie without remembering her pumpkin pie hiests! I met a pup a few days ago from the same Lady that bred Bobbin.. she's not what I want. She's already too aggressive. And I am not ready for it.

This is just WRONG. I have never missed a dog like this before. Never had one that a month after it's passing I still looked for it, and nearly cried every time I realized the truth...
