My Truckers Blog : 6
now i made a post on this very subjest and managed to upset a gal quite a bit she tried hard to stripe my legs so let me make it clear im against haveing a dog or pet of any kind in a truck and that encluede a damn snake not on my trucks but let me tell you why before i get hollord at agin. it is not because i dont like pets in perticular dogs i have two palms that think there dobermans and i wouldnt rtrade them for anything.
the reason that i dont like animals in a truck is because they damage the ac systen and it can be expensive , every time you have to put the truck in the shop it cost money add that to the down time its even more money. dogs in perticulat shed hair nothing you can do about it there going to shed hair and all that hair is sucked into the ac and it wont be long before you dont get any cold air then the driver startes to complain and the truck goes into the shop for repairs MONEY the way things are today in perticular in this econamy who can afford it my trucks are payed for and i cant.
now if the driver takes the responsibility of the repairs thats another story but not many if any do if the driver makes that decision then i see no problem with it but all i ever got from the driver was the repair bill that i dont want.
now i cant say about a company im not a company driver i own my own equipment but i do no companys that will allow it after you put up a deposit and there some that dont even require that but the reason that most do not allow it is because of the damage they do to the equipment and if you own the truck you will no what im talking about, it not because we dont like pets except a damn snake its the cost envolved and im sure that if you look around you will find some one that will let you take your pup with no problem. o and by the way if you want to take a python with you you aint wrapped tight . best of luck to you.---southernpride

I have a Patches (Miss Kitty) and a Tude (Cattitude). I really want to be able to take Miss Kitty with me; she's my baby girl and we would be lost without each other. Tude is my "watch cat". I never knew until friends of ours came to the house and we were gone. He saw them all the time and he would play with them. When they came in while we were gone, he attacked them. After about the 3rd time, we discovered he was protecting the house while we were gone. Funny thing is, he won't attack when we are gone for a couple days and they come over to feed him. He knows where is bread n butter comes from...LOL.

We had a calico named Jade that would attack strangers and run em off... When the paramedics came to get my father in law, she had to be put in another room with the door closed....

Also had a tortiose shell that would attack the neighborhood dogs... you know how funny it looked seeing a 75lb pit bull running down the road with a 12 week old kitten chasinng him?
