STINKY'S SAGA: Beloved cat still has eight lives left

Quote:
Winchester, MA - High school students and cat-lovers can rejoice: Evander “Stinky” Rucki lives.
In a stunning reversal of last month’s cat-astrophe, the beloved feline was found this week, alive and well, with warm food in his belly and eight lives in his pocket.
“We were shell-shocked last night,” said Evander’s owner Sally Rucki, who thought she had buried her cat last month when a feline fitting Evander’s description was found dead at the high school three weeks after Evander went missing.
“We got a call from a woman from Medford last night who said, ‘I really think I have your cat.’
“She said she had just read the [Winchester Star] article online because she had been looking for the owner of the cat.”
Rucki said she told the woman her cat had already been buried, but, as she originally did with Evander, she offered to take the cat in and care for it while trying to find its rightful owners.
