He has learned that if he slips his paw behind the handle and and pulls the door opens. Then he decides to go exploring. He'd eat that seatbelt in a second. Any dog would. You leave a dog in a seatbelt harness alone for 30 minutes you are going to come back to no seatbelt. I tried that with another dog and he ate my seatbelt, luckily for him, it was just my beretta and not my camaro or I would have shot him. This trick will have him contained with a chain harness on a short short lead when I am not in the truck or a kennel. But I'm thinking drapping two electrified mats over the doors might do the trick better. The first time he tries it and shocks himself, he won't ever try it again.
