He didn't do it because he was scared, a scared person stabs the dog one time not carves it manically for their own amusement. About this 'how this person got more or the same time as another crime' stuff.. Come on, if you feel the justice for another type of crime isn't right, instead of TALKING ABOUT IT ON A FORUM, organize demonstrations and get it changed. That's exactly how animal cruetly laws got to the point they are, instead of whining it, do the same. I agree, child rapist should all go to jail FOR LIFE. There are PLENTY of groups you can join and help that cause out, if you do nothing, they you really have no place whining about it. Its your right of course to whine about it, but its really useless to say you don't like something and not try and fix it.

I also think it is not remotely fair to compare this guy's act of pure malice to accidentally hitting an animal in a car or truck. Thats a large leap. For the dog, its the owner's responsibility to keep him contained. If he runs into the street and is hit, by you or anyone, its the owner's fault. In fact, I've seen people who ran into dogs successfully sue the dog owner for the damages to the car.

Shooting and killing feral dogs in the country is a very common practice. However, if the animals you killed were friendly toward people and did not KILL anything on your property and you killed them purely to 'teach yoru neighbor a lesson' as it seems from the tone, instead of returning them to the owner or calling animal control to impound them, then I don't know what to tell you. Legally, you were in the right I suppose, morally, you make your own opinions there.

First of all, I shared a very painful event in my life, that happened nearly 30 years ago. I DID do something all those years ago, up to and including, going to this mans parole hearings to try to prevent his parole.
He STILL got out in 3 1/2 years.
And, I will "TALK ABOUT IT ON A FORUM" any time I choose, thank you very much!

I'll also publicly announce that I shot & killed 5 of my neighbors dogs. I did it intentionally while they were on my property. They weren't wanted on my property... The neighbor was warned to kennel or chain them by me & the Sheriff's Dept.... He choose to do nothing & allowed the scavengers to come tip over my trash, chase my chickens, & frighten my children.
tic...toc...tic...toc you're a time bomb waiting to go boom.

Your comparisons make no sense at all. You are disturbed though...
