| I'm sorry, Tater, but I'm scared silly of snakes -- even the little garden variety snakes. Usually, I'm a pretty tough cookie, but snakes can undo me in an instant. I will admit, though, that I've held and handled the snakes that our high school ag department had. As long as someone knows what they're doing with them, I'm cautiously okay. But let me see one in the yard, and I'm in the house with hubby on speed dial!

| People fear what they dont understand or cant control,understanding the simplistic instincts of all snakes isn't hard. Controlling a snake is out of the question,they can in no way be domesticated. Society has a very twisted perception of these creatures,of which 99% is unwarranted fear passed thru generations.Beliefs instilled at early ages compound when surprise encounters thru nature(walking up on one) or (little Jimmy putting one in a girls hair) Snakes are not bad or evil as most are taught to believe,they are wild animals. With proper care and patience they can be "conditioned" to co-exist with humans Once "understood" they are some of them most amazing creatures God has on this planet.
