From the list of prohibited items on craigslist:
- Household pets of any kind including but not limited to dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish. Re-homing with small adoption fee OK
- Pet animal parts, blood, or fluids - including but not limited to stud/breeding service
For the record the issue is that on craigslist it says no animal breeding (and some people have decided that also means no puppies period, no intact animals period, and so forth because they are net-nazi's bored at home living on their welfare checks imho... but anyway). So if you are trying to rehome a purebred PUPPY you're 99.99999% likely to be flagged. ESPECIALLY if you say it has papers.
If you are trying to rehome for over 100.00 the net-nazi freeloaders that are the flag police generally flag you as well.
But don't worry the net nazi flaggers also flag shelter ads, if they don't like the prices, wording, or breed.
Craigslist is absolutely useless for animal rehoming really, unless you want to give the animal away free.
Try Kijiji. When I tried to rehome a cat I rescued, whom is what many call a 'Snowshoe Siamese' for 100.00 which was LESS then the fee to pull her from the shelter (mind you it was spayed and had all shots) I was flagged off repeatedly, and this was an adult rescued cat... so I stopped using craigslist lol
