truck town in fontana cali by far absolutely the worst

I don't know that Fuel Mart was somethin....
- lady behind the counter had a glass eye and about 3-400 pounds
- you walk in the place smelled like urine
- went to the restroom and the ceiling was falln' in had the typical bull wrote on the walls
- ATM never worked
- they're main stock was ciggarettes, twinkies, and pop
- had boxes scattered all over the floors
- some the food bags were opened
- lot lizards in the back
- and some of the worst coffee I'd ever had

the TA in nashville tn bad spot to be in even in the daytime

Does anybody remember the truckstop in Houston that was a converted freight dock? (about 1989 of so) I understand it has been rebuilt a few years ago. I was only there once, it was the most uncomfortable place I have ever been. I was approached by all kinds of hustlers in broad daylight. I got the heck out of there before dark!

Didn't that place get torn up by a tornado back around 1999 or so?

The Pilot in Indianapolis,In. When I drove for Marten 7 years ago I would just fuel there and if I was headed east I would spend the night at the Greenville Rest Area. Otherwise too many to recall.

I delivered half a load to Orlando and the other half to Miami. Was on a Friday. Went to some hole in a wall truck stop that I had to pay 8 bucks to get in. Was right beside a walmart so I stocked up on grub. This truckstop was so small I had to keep circling to find a empty hole. If they charge you to get in there ought to be a hole somewhere. When one did open it was a bear to get in. I do not remember where it was or the name of it. Had a nasty greasy spoon and a maintenance shop. I ended up loading in Bartow.

T/A Baltimore, first and last t/a I'll ever go to..........assuming of course I can avoid it. B/F's load got canceled, we were stuck there for a few hrs. I walked into washroom, which smelled beyond anything smelled before.....3 cockroaches were having a conversation, I went up to the main desk and complained....they did send the janitor in, he commented "why that ain't no cockaaroach, that there's a JUNEBUG, silly girly, i've seen cockaaroaches they doan bite" I told him he was full of it (used to exterminate p/t I've seen cockroaches b4). I called the manager, he pretty much had same attitude, except he added in "well what do you want me to do about?"

Needless to say we left, and moved up the road....I was so choked over responses I got, I called the head office to complain.......3 wks later when we got home there was a package from the HQ of T/A: 4 free meal vouches....ya like I'm going to eat there! But I suppose it was better than nothing.
