A few of them do, usually in the larger cities. Most are more like high school gym communal showers.

No! And you are required to wash the back of the other drivers in there with you.

Showers are just little rooms. All private. Some are large, clean with soap and shampoo towels provided. Lots of hangers over sized shower stalls and great ventilation. Others are still private, but dirty, hot and humid, and worth not ever going back to. You will learn where to stop and which ones to avoid.

First of all welcome to the big wide world of truckers you know if you got it a truck brought it hey . About showers and truck stops buddy its all hit and miss you get some really clean ones and you get some not so clean regardless of the franchise althought the company i worked for had a Flying J charge card so 99% of time we stopped at Flying J i found there standard pretty good over all generally speaking although i've used Pilot there ok as well the worst i saw was a Truck stop in Elisabeth NJ didn't look like the floors or anything had been mopped for ages dare i say it i was glad to be heading back west and Jersy City NJ looked really great in my Mirrors.

Scotty's Resturant off exit 16 on 87 in Upstate NY is a good place, Not to big and not to small of a truck stop. I know the food there is good along with the price. Never had a problem with any of the drivers there either.
