I hadn't,either....until then, and never again, anywhere else. We didn't need fuel, so we had to pay for the shower.

I certainly don't doubt your story any, I was just commenting on squirrellsgonewild's implication that paying $10 for a shower was absurd. It is, no doubt about that. However, so are many of the things we drivers have to pay for. Ten bucks for a shower and $12 for a buffet are minor compared to paying $30 to cross a daggum bridge.

I just think its ridiculous to pay $10 for a shower.

It IS ridicuous...
It IS ridiculous,squirrells, but what are you gonna do when the only other truck stop is 75 miles away, and you gotta stay close to the shippers, cuz you're waiting for your load?And trust me, I really NEEDED that shower, it was the middle of August, last shower I had was 2 days previous,and it was TIME for that shower,if ya get my drift! LOL

So,yeah, paid for the shower.....
