| sure if the truckstop wants too. I personally am offended at the ignorance of man for even believeing in a god, but is some are so weak that they need a god to exist..so be it, let them have their tooth fairy. I am more offended by the idiots standing at the door of petros and ta's handing out pamplets and inviting me to worship a fake god with the rest of the idiots...can't they see I am wise to the game? and also I am offendend by all the god crap I hear on the radio so I turn the station. THOUGH I MAY BE OFFENDED BY THE ACTS, BELIEVES AND PROPOGANDA OF THE CRISTIANS, I STILL RESPECT THEIR RIGHT TO CARRY ON THESE ACTIVITIES. I wish they could say the same and leave my adult bookstores and lot lizards alone. of course they wont..They won't stop until all the non believers are dead or saved. you better kill me now cristians...Your god is a joke to me |

| Here's my veiw point, and everyone is entitled to there's.... Atheists, don't believe in God or religions. Yet they are in fact a religion themselves, some believe in evolution, others the big bang, etc., and they 'preach" about that. And "worship" that idea, their "God".

| my only response to the responses First off. god is not capitalized for a reason. I do not acknowledge its existance there for it cannot be a proper name. Second, If there were no christians, there could be no Atheists. I am not an Atheist. I am a rational, educated human being that is self relient and strong enough to stand alone. and Last.... My point was missed by all. Tolerance....Tolerance..Tolerance. While I don't believe in your fairytail, I allow you the freedom to worship what ever god your heart desires. While Christians have no tolerance what so ever for any act that they don't deem....godlike. You never see an Atheist standing outside a church objecting to its existance....do you? Yet you see so called christians protesting adult bookstores, (which are legal businesses) Planned Parenthood Clinics and even some music concerts. Costing these business owners hundreds or even thousands of dollars in lost revenue. Christians...need to learn tolorance. Best wishes to all....and Toothfairy Bless you...I mean...god Bless you |

| So you are highly educated and hanging out in the truck driving forums educating us about how you don't believe in God and how we need to be more tolerant.... ok. Quote:

Based on your argument, you sound like a youngster. Look deep within yourself and you will find the truth... it is in all of us. One thing you should do before you lump all the christians into the same pile, try to learn about our beliefs first. Take your own advice... be more tolerant.

I've never seen Christians protesting in front of adult bookstores. Even if it does happen, I don't see the porn industry suffering much. It's something like a 12billion dollar industry if I remember correctly. If there was an argument against having chapels in truck stops, I would say that it would be because not enough people attend. I've been to numerous chapels in large, full, truck stops where there may be five drivers at the service. But it's a good thing for those of us who attend. I don't think missing an hour of television ever hurt anyone. If you don't like the chaplains standing at the door handing out pamphlets just walk by and say no thanks. I don't like lot lizzards knocking on my door and waking me up in the middle night which is far more offensive. But I just don't answer. Would you rather have the minor annoyance of someone trying to give you a pamphlet at the door of truckstop or have someone waking you up after a long day when you need sleep? |
