Should Truck Stops Offer a Chapel/Church

Ok here's the scoop....
When out on the road these tuck stops basicly are our "temporary home town"
We eat, sleep, visit our friends, shop, etc at these places, just like we do at home. Some truck stops have become mini cities withing themselves. Should they offer a Chapel or Church for us drivers. Some do, your oppions?

Some have them. Some are tractor trailers set up as a chapel. Some have mobile home trailers set up as a chapel. I think they should have them. Drivers could decide if they want to use them. Sometimes drivers need to talk with someone about problems and the CB is not the place to find that kind of support.

I think it would be nice to seem more of them, but I don't think it should be required.

Many TAs here on the east coast have a trailer with a chapel and regularly scheduled services. I'm very happy to see many more chapels than strip clubs around the truck stops these days. It seems the days of lot lizards and boobie bars are fading.

If someone wants to provide them then I'm all for it. I'm not the most religious of people but sometimes its nice to get advice to some of life's problems where you don't need to feel like your being judged. And if you do feel that way the pastor will probably never remember you the next time you roll threw.

i think it is a great idea! i don't think they should be required to have it, but i think they could make room for it. being a former pastor, i can see the importance of services at a truck stop. being out on the road takes one away from his home church sometimes and it would be great to be able to fellowship and hear God's word at a truckstop. also, think of the people who could be comforted and helped. AWESOME!

I have been off the road since the end of 2003, but from what I remember, many of the larger truck stops had a chapel.

I don't think it should be required, but I like the idea of them being available.

Don't truck stop directories list whether this service is available?
