The magazines that they hand out have a list of what companies pay.
Idle Aire got bought out so I don't know if things changed any

It's not dead yet? For just a few bucks more you can get a motel with all the goodies.

Yea, just what was the real story behind Idleaire ?

I thought when Idleaire first rolled out, it was a great idea. Started by a trucker and his contractor brother in law from Knoxville, TN. Now, it is in bankruptcy and there is a new company running it.

Just what is the real story behind all this?

Thanks.

I use to work for Idle Aire yes it is a joke but hubby and I use it once in awhile I was told I needed to get a certain number of drivers to hook up I told them I wasn't going to act like a lot lizard and go around selling this service if drivers want to hook up they will let us know. I left after a month

Yeah , my carrier has an account with IdleAire . Every time I pulled in a lot with IdleAire they'd try to flag me down . I have used IdleAire when the temperature was over 80 degrees or under 40 degrees but other than that it was a waste of money . IdleAire never made money . The more they expanded the deeper they went in debt . [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link.

last co i worked for paid for it, nice on a long layover or reset, least u get good tv reception and many channels, with out every time a truck goes by makes the fuzzy as it does w/out it, plus you got the puter to entertain u, i also liked the 110/120 power hook up to run everything in my cab w/out draining the batteries, the heat/ac can be a plus, but didn't like it all that much, due to i don't think they change the filters often enough, kinna like a airplane breathin in what everyone else is breathin out

Yeah, laying up in your truck for the weekend at a truck-stop is quite entertaining, while you're hooked up to idle aire. I thought you folks wanted to see the country, not the inside of your freakin' sleeper.

I dont want to see any more of this country then I have too.
I want my load "OFF" even before its loaded.
I would as soon burn my fuel as hook to that scam.
Thats the bottom line . . . . .
