Just when ya think ya seen everything...

Last week I pulled off into one of the many truck pull offs that the state of Nevada is kind enough to provide for us, (had a dry tire-wink,wink). Lo and behold there were 4 or 5 gallon jugs containing pee strewn off to the side of the pavement. Now we all know this isn't unusual since we seem to have acquired a real proliferation of pigs in this industry over the last few years. What really chapped my hide though, and left me scratching my head in wonderment was that this nasty litter was deposited on the ground less than forty feet from an empty dumpster! How lazy do you have to be? Could there be some sort of correlation between this kind of laziness and the number of grossly fat drivers I'm seeing more of lately?
Wait, there's more...
The next day I was passing through the Utah port of entry (sweating bullets because I was a 'lil heavy again) and there it was- a "pee bomb" less than twenty feet from the freakin' scale!!! I mean jeminy christmas did some moron do this on a bet? Just when ya think ya seen everything.
People, I know there must be more than one person leaving these nasty calling cards! It seems as though anyplace you see trucks parked you'll find these disgusting things. What I'd like to do is to start some sort of dialog with this thread and we can discuss ways to police ourselves and maybe diminish this filthy problem. Think of the poor "adopt a highway folks" who have to pick up this mess.
Remember, our image as truckers blongs to all of us...

I have a feeling that the drivers who do this sort of thing aren't the kind who's reading this forum. But I'm not a trucker (yet), so I may be totally wrong!

I have to admit, it is quite pathetic to see that as well...I just can't believe that they couldn't even at the very least, pour out the pee and keep their bottle until they were closer to a trash can...LOL...There are alot of dirty people in this industry and I have seen it get worse in the last 12 years...I will not be one of them...

I wouldn't want to stereotype all overweight people into the same category, but as far as truck stops go, I've noticed a certain laziness in regards to parking.

Sometimes I pull into a truck stop and I think it must be full because of all the trucks parked around the fuel island. Then I get to the back of the lot and there's almost two empty rows. These drivers double up around the fuel island, making it difficult for others to get in and out, just so they won't have to walk as much.

This really ticks me off when there's plenty of parking. Big time Lazy

And less security, more lot lizards, and a better chance of getting robbed/solicited. I don't park near the front because I'm lazy. I mean, I parked in the front at this Love's so I'd be in plain sight, and I just walked to a different truck stop because I wanted Wendy's.
