Eh, I'll go with the one in Shrewsbury Mass.....dump, but all Pilots are dumps. I almost decided against visiting my GF in California because I had to park at the Pilot in Madera, luckily, that one was tolerable and she was worth it even though we arent together anymore. I had to take a shower in there because we had a date in Fresno, but aside from the shower, I waited out on the service road for her to pick me up.....I didn't want to expose her to the PEE-LOT.

I will go out of my way to avoid Pilot or Loves....both are dives. Frickin fast food restaurants with gas pumps attached. I will say the one in Madera Ca. has a Denny's attached.....

Pliots

The pilot in clear lake Ia has a dennys, I do agree that the fast food has to go...its not good for us as drivers, but then those who make 2 or three or even 4 or more trips to the buffet line... is not much better...

They just built a new Pilot in Mt. Vernon, IL with a Denny's in it. Maybe they are hearing the complaints about the fast food..............Nah, they just get more money from the Denny's.........

For a fuel stop only, I'll take the J over a Pilot. I pay cash, and the J's cash price is normaly alway .02 cheaper, plus they'll set you up over the phone, whereas the Pilots will make you come inside, show drivers licence, which goes without saying this adds another 10 minutes in standing behind your usuall customers who want a pack of smokes....nope, 100s, nope 100 ultra lights, nope 100 ultra lights menthol, lotto tix, 2 gallon mega jug of slurrpy beverage, 3 day warmed hot dogs, trinkets, paying for fuel with odometer mileage reading, 9 digit tractor number, 9 digit trailer number, driver employee number, tractor plate number, trailer plate number, trip number, other numbers, yadda...

Anytime you pull into a stop that has both a J and a Pilot across the street from one another, take note of the cash fuel price. J is always cheaper. Plus parking.

Also, as an aside, I've noticed that the J has better lookin and nicer gals at the fuel desks. Anyone fill up at the Pilot in Wildwood? Can you say "diesel dyke"?........(pun there)

yeah that aint no good

same as the pilot at the 150 off 81 in va , maybe 8-10 spaces 5-6 islands

its the worst place far as parking, its so busy between TA/petro across the street

ive noticed more and more pilots having signs saying 3 hour parking only

Just stayed at that Pilot a night or two ago, actually. I never pay much attention to the diesel prices, but those "truck stops" really suck in Wildwood. I had to walk across the street to the T/A to get something to eat, where I had to get my own silverware, placemat, and ended up eating the buffet because the concept of a menu never crossed their minds. That's the first time I've ever left a $0 tip, and I thorougly enjoyed writing it on the receipt (which I had to wait at the register and ask him to ring me up for), and handing it back.

Yeah, oddly that is one Pilot with no fast food grubola, yet does have ample parking.

But hey, there is a KFC across the street from the chrome shop. LOL

Steak & shake on the other side of the big road too.

Ya, occasionally I like to sit down in a restaurant to feel human for an hour or so, so I thought I'd give the T/A try. I guess I should've just gotten the mashed potato bowl at KFC.
