I'm a 4 wheeler driver and can't stand Pilot and it's step children. Pilot owns Marathon Oil and Speedway as well. In Corbin, KY on I-75 There's Pilot, Marathon (Formerly the Union 76) and Love that sells Marathon fuel.

I've frequently got a trailer behind my Dodge diesel and whatever moron designed the 4 wheeler side made it so you have to circle in to the station and then back out. Invariably, it's clogged up with people that went in to look over the tourist trinkets, take a dump, get a McD's burger and loaf for half an hour and it's tough to get out of there. Then there's the Mickey Mouse air pump they have that limits pressure to 30 psi, no good for a 3/4 ton truck or flatbed trailer. Of course the gasoline customers pull up to the multi station pump and leaving the gas only pumps open. Then there's the $50 credit card thing. My truck holds 31 gallons, at $4.39/gal I can't get half a tank without re juicing the card.

The big gripe I have with Pilot is the way they are controlling prices. I noticed a few months ago on a trip to Florida that the Flying J's were 25 to 30 cents a gallon cheaper than the exits with only a Pilot. I'm sure Flying J caught up in price, but it was pretty evident that Pilot is the leader in raising prices. I know on the south exit with the Speedway, they routinely anymore raise their prices 50 cents at a time and wait to see what the others go up to then lower to that price. They are regularly 10 to 15 cents or more higher than the other stations on the same exit.

SouthsideTRKman will become famous soon enough
I would rather take a leak in a jug, eat cold spaghetti out of a can and drink a hot soda than waste 5 minutes at a Pilot. It's worth it to go find a Flying J or T/A somewhere than to stop at Pilot.....they are the worst part of this industry in my experience.
