TAYLOR, MO -- A popular Missouri truck stop is getting a complete remodeling job after the Warrenton Property purchased the 18 Wheeler in Taylor, Missouri. There's plans to expand the restaurant and include a truck repair and tire shop adjacent to the place. The 18 Wheeler will remain open during construction until construction is finished on the new site. Restaurant regulars are excited about the new plans.
"We just hope nothing changes because this is our afternoon loafing spot and it's too bad George Keller who's probably the most famous loafer that's usually here and he's not here today but I'll give you the quote he always says, he says that's there's no reason to go anywhere else because anything worth seeing or hearing you'll hear here at the 18 wheeler," said Ben DeVerger.
If you would like to visit the 18 Wheeler Restaurant, it's located at Highways 24 and 6 in Taylor, Missouri.
