| I rear somewhere last year Visa hit them fr like 120 million in service fees or something crazy like that which is why they stoped taking visa for truck fuel purchases. That's when I stoped going since I fueled with a visa, so I don't know if they stoped taking them all together now |

Flying J was having too many people claim that they didn't authorize the cards to be used, and according to the agreement between Visa and Flying J, the charges were reversed and Flying J lost its money, and its fuel. Thats why Flying J, and several others, started this policy. |

| Your going to see more and more of it too. Anyone could use anyones card at the pump no questions asked. What if you dropped your credit card by accident and another driver picked it up and pumped 200 gallons of this $3.47 fuel we got right now??

Socialism and total Government control are not knocking at the door anymore, they have walked in, invited by the huddled masses who are determined to "vote"themselves the things they want. |

| mjstef I loved your comment about liberals LOL Flying J in my opinion went to he_l in a handbasket when they took over the husky truckstops and their first order of business was to close the service bays. Then they quit accepting comdata. They are all about getting the service fee's as well as any other fee's out there in their pocket. |

| replies right from the J We had to stop accepting Visa because Visa has a policy that does not allow for a difference between cash and credit. VISA charges Flying J a large transaction fee (exchange) to process all VISA transactions. We cannot sell at our cash price and be profitable because of our low street price. Effective 5pm EDT on Friday, May 25, 2007, VISA cards will no longer be accepted for fuel purchases made at the Professional Truck Diesel islands. We understand that this will cause inconvenience to some of our loyal customers. VISA will continue be accepted at Flying J's gasoline and RV islands as well as its restaurants and convenience stores. It has become cost prohibitive to accept VISA at our commercial diesel truck islands. Beginning at 5pm May 25th; you will need to utilize another method of payment. Options for VISA customers purchasing diesel on the Professional Truck Diesel islands include: Contacting TCH (888/824-7378, press option #5) for Fleet cards Contacting TAB (800/215-712 Load value on a Flying J Gift Card (they may use a VISA to do this via the C-Store operated by Flying J –subject to 2% service fee) Obtain a Cash Advance from the in-store ATM (fees will apply) Utilize another method of payment such as TChek, EFS, Mastercard, AMEX or Discover We do have the credit price. However, when we charge the credit price Visa fine us for that. Which is why we cannot accept them. Kathryn Norris Administrative Office Assistant Diesel Fuel Marketing Flying J. Corp. 801-624-1176 |

OOIDA filed a Class Action suit against Flying J, Pilot, Petro and TA on behalf of O/O (and others) several years ago to stop this practice and won. But the thing is, they all simply changed the wording of their charges and get away with it still. Instead of charging a PREMIUM for using a credit card, now they "discount" fuel for using cash or a "Third Party" Billing Service (such as ComData or EFS).

| I know its a PITA and we are so used to using the VISA. I think we would be better served to boycott them. They charge us outrageous interest rates and then charge the vendors a percentage, I think it 2-3 percent. They are getting paid on both ends. I think there will be more to follow. I guess companies will have to decide if their cash bussiness is worth more than their Credit Card Business. You would think they would be able to split the diffrence between their cash and credit bussiness. I still think the bigger culprit is the Credit\Debit Card companies but it is hard to get by without them this day and time. On the flip side if the flying J is still accepting them from their non-professional pumps WTF? Who are they saying is more important to them? The 4 wheelers or the truckers? Maybe they want out of the truck stop bussiness. |

| I never considered Flying J to be a truckstop, more like a glorified 7-11 that sold fuel to trucks. |
