| BP in Maxton, NC There's a BP on US 71 right outside Maxton, NC that my hubby stopped at last night for his ten hours right after he got unloaded at Campbell's Soup. He went to bed, had his curtain shut, lights off. Had just fallen asleep when there's a knock on his door. "Want some company?". A peddler of flesh pleasure. Or more commonly known, a lot lizzard. Now one wake up, OK I guess, but then a few minutes later, here comes another. All told, he had FIVE DIFFERENT LIZZARDS knock on his truck within one hour. And yet another one heading his way when he rolled out of his truck to go inside to talk to the store clerk. How the heck is a driver supposed to sleep through that? So he went inside and asked if this was a common occurance for that many knocks in one hour. The guy inside said yes, it goes on all night long. For pete's sake, call the law. These women are interrupting the drivers on their ten hour federally mandated breaks. So anyway, he asked the guy if there was anyplace else he could go to park so he could actually sleep for the night. The guy laughed and said yes, they don't bother the drivers down at this fast food place that has truck parking in back. So off he went. Thankfully it was only a few miles.
