 **Alert** Vandalism # TA, Prescott AR, I-30 exit 44 This was posted by my company: External Security Reports indicate that the T/A truck stop on I-30 exit 44 in Prescott, AR has had several tractor/trailer tires vandalized. Over twenty-one (21) companies reported problems with trucks and trailers. Tires have had ice pick holes in the sidewalls. A few trucks were reported vandalized at the T/A in New Braunfels, TX on I-35 exit 193. Police reports were filed. We stayed at the Prescott AR TA in mid-May, we ended up with a leaky trailer tire. We thought it was the valve stem. When we got to a tire shop, though, a small puncture was found on the sidewall of the tire just short of the tread. We had to replace the tire. The puncture was very small. Whoever is doing the vandalism knows what they are doing.

| Does anyone know the kinds of companies that were vandalized? Were they all O/Os, all large companies who charge peanuts for loads? Was it a mix? Just from the sentiments of a lot of drivers out there lately, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that whoever was doing it was a disgruntled O/O or former large company driver targeting the Swifts & Schneiders. |

| The posting didn't list any companies, but just said there were "over" 21 companies. For that many different ones to be targeted in a small span of time must have been by a person who is local, not someone running OTR. Someone who can come in at night, at will, and who knows how to irreparably damage a tire. A truck stop employee who hates drivers? A tire shop needing to sell tires? Another driver who is at that truck stop often who really dislikes other drivers? A lot lizzard who dislikes drivers? This started happening after the prices of fuel exploded. This person knows that the drivers are crippled to begin with and is happy to compound these drivers' financial problems.......someone's head needs to be cracked.
